February Feedback!

February has been an excellent month for us here at Frith Resource Management (FRM). We have received lots of positive feedback on our work from a number of our clients on a range of different projects that we would like to share with you.

Late last year, West Northamptonshire Council commissioned FRM with completing an options appraisal for harmonising residual waste collection across West Northamptonshire. We modelled a range of options providing potential opportunities for aligning residual waste collection across the board. We received the following feedback from the client on completion of the project:

‘We asked FRM to consider the options available to harmonise residual waste collection frequencies across West Northamptonshire. They modelled several scenarios for us in terms of reverting to fortnightly collections for all or phasing in three weekly collections in over time, as currently collection contracts allowed. In each case they looked at the financial, environmental, political, performance and acceptability pros and cons of each option. They also provided us with some case studies of other local authorities who had introduced 3 weekly residual collections and benched marked us against them and others. In all aspects of the work FRM were approachable, available, professional and very flexible when we decided, quite late into the project, that we needed a few more options modelled. This was very much appreciated.’

We also received feedback from a couple of London based projects, firstly, FRM have been working with the North London Waste Authority, one of our largest clients. Our task in this project was to support the development of a new joint waste strategy, assisting with consultation and relevant environmental documentation, including a Strategic Environmental Assessment. We received some excellent feedback on our work over the duration of the project:

‘Frith are really great to work with, responsive, knowledgeable and always on the ball. If you have a problem, they will always have a solution. I would highly recommend them to any local authority or other organisation looking for support on a waste project.’

Our final feedback of the month came from another London based client, the borough of Tower Hamlets. In this project FRM were tasked with assisting the borough with exploring options for future waste management services, including the tipping, bulking, onward transport and final management of municipal waste arisings. We received the following feedback from the client:

‘The services we received from FRM in relation to the contracted work were to a very high standard, were responsive, flexible, delivered on time and within budget. FRM have a broad range of knowledge, skills and expertise within the organisation and have a track record of undertaking the type of consulting work that we required. FRM’s open and supportive approach facilitated a collaborative dialogue during the delivery of the services but FRM also provided relevant guidance and handholding where necessary.’

These comments are testament to the strong team at FRM, and our associates, who all really care about every client and project, and are experts in their field.
