There is a window for planning on waste services, amidst the recovery from Covid-19, before the next round of Austerity hits budgets and in advance of the challenges of Consistent Collections, DRS and EPR.

Seven projects we are involved in at present with Councils highlight this: investment in a sub-regional MRF; the business case for trade waste; securing organic waste treatment (procurement support); investment in residual waste treatment infrastructure and DBO procurement; implications of the waste service for the climate emergency; two projects looking a joint / harmonised collections between authority groupings.
